Gary Reis owns and serves as president of Access Ambulance Service, an ambulance transportation provider licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, with multiple offices strategically located across the two states.

Access Ambulance puts a premium on staff training, and has a full-time education and training coordinator. The company has its own on-site training facility with state-of-the-art training equipment. All employees must undergo a 2-week orientation that combines academic and hands-on training. Topics covered include general company practices, clinical patient assessment, OSHA training, treatment protocols, CEVO driver certification, lifting techniques, and more.
Emergency management training courses are available to all employees, and are conducted on site. Access Ambulance administers annual and bi-annual mandatory trainings for its employees depending on national standards and certification requirements. The company also holds monthly training classes at its facility, and every employee must complete at least four training classes per year.
